extracted from hard-to-find printed books and knowledge obtained by chating with other
collectors. Of course, direct observation of original pieces scanned and shown in this
page will also be of help to new collectors.

This
site is focused on military-related pre-1945 awards so you will not find here information about the
Order of the Sacred Crown, but we include the Japanese Red Cross and Imperial Sea Disaster Rescue Society awards, as they appear frequently in
military sets of medals for any rank of servicemen. Also, badges of military support or patriotic associations are covered.
