Here we find a series of postcards printed in Spain at the time of the Ruso-Japanese war (series 588, printer unknow) depicting ships of the Imperial Japanese Navy. A nice point about them is that they were written by the members of a family of the village of Sant Hilari de Sacalm to their son who was away from home, perhaps studiying at Barcelona. Afterwards we have two interesting
photos of a Japanese cruiser (perhaps the Yakumo, which was used as a cadet training ship and went to the Mediterranean two times at least) visiting Barcelona. Then three Japanese postcards and two French
postcards dedicated to war events. |
